Update NowRosé in autumn or winter – can this be right? Ma certo! Put it to the test and serve a rosé wine with a hearty fondue – a wonderful experience. Don’t be afraid to pair it with fish, roast chicken or a tender fillet of veal either. You’re sure to be impressed!
Sicily produces the most beautiful volcanic wines. The indigenous grapes grow at the foot of Mount Etna in two opposing climates: on the northern side of the volcano, the air cools significantly at night, resulting in refreshing wines with noticeably salty, mineral notes. In contrast, grapes from the much sunnier southern slope produce opulent, fruity wines, such as II Tascante from the Sicilian winery Tasca. Cheers!
A wine label goes beyond practical use in identifying the contents; a label with a pleasing design also influences our purchase decision. And there is often an interesting story behind the name of a wine. For instance, do you know why a sheep graces Umani Ronchi’s Pecorino label?
