Italy – the land of grape diversity!

Our map of Italy displays over 50 different varieties – and that’s nowhere near all of the grape varieties! There are at least 10,000 grape varieties in the world, of which almost 1,400 are pressed to produce commercial wine. Around 1,000 of these are registered in Italy alone.
