Update NowThe name Primitivo comes from the Latin «primativus», the first to mature. It was given this name by a botanist, who discovered it in the south of Italy in 1799. It grows mainly in Puglia. However, it originates from Croatia, where it is called Tribidrag. What’s more, Primitivo has a twin: it’s identical to the Californian Zinfandel! The appeal of the wines lie in the fact that they are so easy to drink. Exuberant berry fruit, striking spiciness, fresh acidity. Tailor-made for pizza, pasta - or your next barbecue!
