The perfect choice for those who find brut a little too dry: a sparkling Prosecco with delicate foam and a lively, persistent perlage. Pleasantly fruity on the palate, but not excessively sweet, with wonderful flavours of pears and fresh flowers.
Recommendations
Excellent as an aperitif, with panettone or spicy dishes from the Far East.
Vinification
The harvest is followed by the careful pressing of the Prosecco grapes. The must is then fermented in stainless steel tanks with the carbonic acid developed under strict temperature control. Before bottling, the lees deposit is removed by filtering. In contrast to Prosecco brut, a little sugar is added to Prosecco extra dry during dosage, to give it a fruitier effect.
