Dark ruby red. On the nose, a wonderful, intense fragrance of small, red wild berries. Also sour cherries and warm spices, notes of undergrowth and dark, sweet tobacco. Juicy, well-balanced and elegant on the palate. The noticeable but velvety tannins are well integrated and lend character to the wine. The finish is spicy and of a good length.

Details
For ten months, this blend of Aglianico and international grape varieties matures in wooden barrels. It boasts aromas of wild berries, cherries, spices, undergrowth and tobacco. Juicy and balanced in the mouth with velvety tannins and a spicy finish.

Vinification
The grapes come from the regions of Minervino Murge (Bari) and San Pietro Vernotico (Brindisi). They are harvested separately, vinified in stainless steel tanks and aged for ten months in French and Hungarian barriques before being blended. The wine rests for a further eight months in the bottle before it is released for sale.
