Tasting notes
Dense ruby with violet reflections. Finely scented on the nose with ripe, intense, almost overpowering aromas of dark berries, warm spices, roasted aromas and a hint of marzipan. A powerful initial hit on the palate. Densely woven, full-bodied and well-balanced. Again with ripe, concentrated berry fruit, cherries and soft, well-integrated tannins. The finish is aromatic with good length.

Details
The Argentinian counterpart to Masi’s Italian Campofiorin: the young Malbec wine is blended with whole, dried Corvina grapes to trigger a secondary fermentation. Spectacular aroma of berries, spicy, thick and full-bodied on the palate.
Recommendations
Pairs with grilled food in general, but also with pasta such as spaghetti carbonara.
Vinification
Masi blends the young wine from the Malbec grape with whole, dried Corvina grapes to trigger the desired secondary fermentation. The wine is then matured for twelve months in small wooden barrels.
