Bright ruby red; delicate, subtly scented nose. Aromas of violets, dried rose petals, plums, dried fruit, hints of liquorice and subtle notes of undergrowth. Full-bodied, juicy, structured palate, prominent but well-integrated tannins. More dark fruity aromas with spicy, floral components. Medium-long, beautifully structured finish.

Details
This Nebbiolo, typical of the variety, has scents of dried fruit, dried rose petals and nuts. Dark fruity flavours and spicy floral components on the palate. Matured for twelve months in Slavonian oak barrels.
Recommendations
An excellent accompaniment to pasta with a spicy meat sauce and grilled meats.
Vinification
The grapes for the «Drago» come from the eponymous vineyard at 400 metres above sea level. After the harvest and gentle pressing of the grapes, the ten to twelve-day maceration follows. The young wine is then aged for eight to twelve months in Slavonian and French oak barrels.
