Deep ruby red with violet highlights. Wonderfully intense on the nose, with aromas of blackberries, damsons and cedar. These are joined by hints of dark chocolate and tobacco. Rich and multifaceted on the palate with firm, ripe tannins. This wine impresses with its remarkable length.

This prestige wine pairs superbly well with elegant beef cuts such as Entrecôte or Bistecca alla Fiorentina.
Vinification
The Merlot and Cabernet franc grapes are harvested separately with the greatest of care. The grapes from each parcel are then vinified separately to enable the unique properties to emerge. Fermentation took place spontaneously with natural yeasts at temperatures of 25-28 °C in stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation takes place in 50% new oak barrels. After the first 12 months of maturation, the wine is blended and then refined in the barrels for a further three months before being bottled.
