Details
It is the life-and-soul wine for many fans of South Tyrol: the Lagrein. This example of the genre matures for over 15 months in barrique and seduces with notes of ripe damsons, leather and dark chocolate. The body is succulent and rich in tannins.
Recommendations
Ideal for pairing with hearty meat dishes such as game or a classic Sunday roast.
Vinification
The grapes from the single vineyard of Lindenburg in Bozen are carefully selected and fermented for 15 days after pressing in stainless steel tanks. After that, the young wine is aged and refined for 18 months in barriques made from Allier and new oak (1/3 new).
