Details
This dark red Veltliner Riserva perfectly balances fruit, acidity and wood. Tantalising dried fruit aromas on the nose, sweetish notes on the palate and a warm finish.
Recommendations
Excellent with savoury meat dishes.
Vinification
After gentle pressing of the grapes, the mash is fermented in stainless steel tanks. This is followed by ageing in large wooden barrels. In contrast to the traditional Grumello, the Riserva is matured for four to six months in barriques, in addition to several years in oak barrels.
