Tasting notes
A multi-layered, inviting bouquet with an aroma reminiscent of citrus and fresh alpine herbs. A hint of mint and white blossom. The palate reveals pears and grapefruit, which lend the wine an enticing fruitiness. Balanced and fresh, pleasantly juicy and supported by a lively acidity. Mineral notes lend the Fragment finesse without overwhelming its clean, fruity character.

A varietally pure Sauvignon blanc cultivated under organic conditions on the high terraced vineyards of the South Tyrol. Fragment is characterised by its lemon-yellow colour with light green reflections. On the nose it develops fresh, mineral notes with fruity and floral accents. Juicy and well balanced on the palate.
Its versatility makes it an excellent accompaniment for a whole range of dishes: starters, asparagus, various fish and vegetable dishes.
The grapes for this wine are grown at between 230 and 830 metres above sea level. The huge differences in temperature between day and night at this altitude mean that the harvest period lasts almost two months. The wine matures in stainless steel tanks, large oak barrels and barriques, with the wine remaining on the yeast for six months.
