Dark purple with violet reflections. Dark berries, fine roasted notes on the nose. Classically elegant on the palate, noble wood with medium structure and noticeable tannins. Really long finish with a lovely balance.

Vinification
For several years, Stephan Neipperg, the owner of Château Canon La-Gaffelière, has been integrating biodynamic components in the care of his vines, which are around 45 years old. On the 19.5 ha estate, the grapes are harvested by hand and strictly selected. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled wooden cuviers. The young wine is then aged for 19 months in 100% new French barriques.
