Vinification
The Nebbiolo grapes for this Cru come from the «Cerequio» vineyard in the village of La Morra at 350 metres above sea level. After being picked by hand, the grapes are sorted again before being taken to the winery for fermentation. After the fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the young wine matures for two years in medium-sized wooden barrels made from Slavonian oak then one year in the bottle. The production consists of just 14,000 bottles.
