For this top-notch Barolo, only the best grapes from the upper slopes in the district of Serralunga d’Alba are used. A garnet-red wine with the bewitching aroma of rose petals, candy, caramel and dried fruit and a long, harmonious finish.

Vinification
The best hilltop locations of Batasiolo in the district of Serralunga d'Alba, at 360 to 400 metres above sea level, are reserved for this top-notch Barolo. After strict quality control and the gentle pressing of the grapes, the maceration takes place in stainless steel tanks. The young wine is then transferred to large wooden barrels, plus a small percentage to 225 l French barriques, where it matures and refines for two years. When the barrel-ageing is complete, the wine rests for another year in the bottle before being released for sale.
