Intense, rich, ruby red with purple reflections. A wonderfully open, complex aroma on the nose with plenty of ripe fruit, red berries, predominantly strawberries, floral notes and fresh wood and roasted aromas. Beautifully full-bodied, succulent and juicy on the palate with firm tannins, plenty of mellowness and a stimulating finish.

This Barbera, matured for twelve months in oak, impresses with a wonderful strawberry bouquet and fresh wood notes. Full-bodied, succulent and juicy on the palate with firm tannins and beautifully mellow.
Recommendations
Wonderful with a plate of pasta with ragù, soups and braised dishes.
Vinification
The Barbera grapes come from the Roncaglia estate. Following strictly selective hand-picking, the grapes are destemmed and lightly crushed as soon as they arrive at the winery. They are then fermented in stainless steel tanks before being matured in medium-sized oak barrels and barriques for around ten months.
