Tasting notes
Dense, brilliant ruby. Great complexity and density on the nose. An aroma of ripe plums, sour cherries, black wild berries and rosewater alongside warm nuances of truffles, cigars and spices. Plenty of substance on the palate, firm tannins of excellent quality, elegance and finesse. Succulent texture. Again aromas of dark berries, spices and balsamic notes. Very long, well structured finish with lingering aromas.

Vinification
Only the best grapes are good enough for Bruno Giacosa’s single-vineyard «Falletto di Serralunga d'Alba» Barolo. After careful harvesting by hand, the grapes are gently pressed and the must is immediately fermented in the classic way. The young wine is then aged for 24 to 48 months in wooden barrels, followed by six to twelve months of maturing in bottles.
