Die Merlot-Trauben für den «kleinen Montiano» werden von Hand geerntet und umgehend in den Keller gebracht. Die Vinifikation erfolgt temperaturkontrolliert in Stahltanks. Zur Verfeinerung reift der junge Merlot während neun Monaten in Barriques aus Eichenholz. (Never und Tronçais)
