Vinification
The grapes are delivered from various vineyards up above the small village of Bolgheri and carefully sorted for quality. After being gently crushed, they undergo around 15 days of maceration in stainless steel tanks. The young wine is then aged for 24 months in French barriques. In late autumn, the wine is transferred to bottles, where it rests for a further year.
