Fine citrus aromas, a little cream and brioche on the nose. Really quite lush on the palate with a discreet vanilla note from the barrique. The finish is fruity and long-lasting.

Vinification
The vines are grown on the best slopes in Eglisau on soils that warm up fast, then harvested at a late stage. This means the crop is especially ripe and complex. After a short initial fermentation, the wine is matured in barrique. The fermentation and the ensuing malolactic fermentation take place in wood, which is beautifully incorporated into the final wine. The yeast is stirred to create a pleasant mellowness. Finally, the wine is left to develop for almost one more year in barrique, lending it additional depth.
