Details
A typical Langhe rosso: wonderfully rustic in its youth and growing increasingly elegant with age. Lovely fruity sweetness, discreet spice, a little marzipan and perfectly integrated tannins.
Recommendations
Excellent with lamb and game served with rich side dishes.
Vinification
Both grape varieties are vinified separately in wooden vats and stainless steel tanks, as they mature at different times. The young wines are then mixed together and matured for 12 to 18 months, depending on the vintage, in large Slavonian and French wooden barrels.
