The wines of Guado al Tasso belong to the elite of Tuscan viticulture.

The red Guado al Tasso is undisputedly the flagship wine of the Tenuta of the same name, but the other wines of the estate certainly have no reason to shy away either. They all impress with their balance, elegance and fruitiness. After all, they embody all the strength and gentleness of the landscape in which they grow: the Maremma.

Tenuta Guado al Tasso comprises a total of around 320 hectares of vineyards in a charming plain surrounded by hills, known as the «Bolgheri amphitheatre» on account of its distinctive formation. A third of the property, which came into the Antinori family’s possession through marriage in the 1930s, is planted with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet franc – varieties that thrive particularly well in the Mediterranean climate.
