Pian delle Vigne
Marchesi Antinori

At Pian delle Vigne, the famous Antinori winegrowing family devotes itself entirely to Brunello.
Antinori, owner of Pian delle Vigne since 1995, names his top wine Vignaferrovia – for the following reason: there is a 19th-century railway station on the grounds of the tenuta, which is still in use today. It is located on the historic railway line that connects Florence with the Grosseto – Rome route and runs through beautiful landscapes.
On 65 hectares of mineral-rich soil, the tenuta exclusively cultivates Brunello, as the Sangiovese grape is known in Tuscany. And uses it to make elegant wines full of character, wines that can enhance any dish.

Marchese Piero Antinori
Winemaker
«Brunello thrives here without exception. That’s what the Sangiovese grape is called in Tuscany.»
