At Gerberstube, I bridge two places that are almost 1,400 kilometres apart. I was born and raised in Il Cilento National Park in Campania. After gaining culinary experience in both Italy and Switzerland – in Valais and Graubünden, among other places – I am now bringing the inspiration of southern Italian cuisine to the Rhine, together with my wonderful team.

It’s safe to say that nobody else here in the far north of Switzerland cooks with the same Mediterranean flair that we do. As a native Sicilian, I can ensure a truly authentic cucina tipica dell’osteria, with house-made pasta and traditional recipes from the Italian Peninsula. This is what I have done at all the other Bindella locations where I have had the opportunity to embody the company’s values since 2008.
