Rich ruby red. Ripe, distinguished aromas on the nose with beautiful intensity. Dark, dense fruit. Slightly smoky. Ripe damsons and discreet roasted notes, complemented by a warm herbal spiciness. Juicy and dense on the palate. Noticeable but very well integrated tannins. Powerful, robust body. Multi-layered aromas on the palate. Herbal spiciness, again damsons, a little cinnamon. Aromatic, long-lasting finish. A wine full of character, a highly successful combination of strength and elegance.
