Tasting notes
Deep ruby red with purple highlights. Densely woven on the nose, distinctive and full of character. Aromas of sour cherries, damson compote, warm spices, Mon Chéri, a hint of forest floor and ethereal notes. Rich yet elegant on the palate. With a firm texture and perfectly balanced and integrated acidity. The aromas of the nose are reflected in the flavours. Long, mild finish with lingering aromas.

Launched in 2009 for the 30th anniversary of Falesco: the Trentanni, matured in barrique, is noted for its fantastic elegance, lovely density and characteristic aromas of dark fruits.
We like to serve it with home-made lasagne.
The wine, which first came to market in 2009, was – as its name suggests – specially created to mark the 30th anniversary of the Falesco winery, which was founded in 1979 by Renzo and Riccardo Cotarella. The Merlot is harvested at the beginning of September, the Sangiovese at the end of that month. The grapes are macerated for approximately 15 days in stainless steel tanks. The alcoholic fermentation of also takes place in stainless steel. Once fermentation is complete, the young wine matures for twelve months in barriques.
