Carignano is an old red grape variety that has acclimatised very well in Sardinia. This garnet-red, elegant Riserva has scents of dark berries, dried fruit and vanilla and seduces with a hint of dark chocolate.
Recommendations
A fine accompaniment to lamb with fresh herbs.
Vinification
Only the best lots of Carignano grapes are used for this Riserva. After the harvest, the grapes are picked again, then gently crushed, macerated and fermented in stainless steel tanks. The young wine is then aged for twelve months in French barriques and a further twelve months in bottles.
