Staforte is characterised by aromas of fresh fruit such as apricot, peach and crisp golden apple, complemented by nuances of dried chamomile and white flowers. The mineral notes lend the wine elegance and finesse. On the palate, the wine is silky and round, making it light and long-lasting.

Details
Staforte Soave Classico doc is a classic Soave that reflects the mineral quality of the volcanic soils on which the grapevines grow. This complex and taut Garganega impresses with its remarkable texture and length. The Garganega grapes come from 30- to 70-year-old vineyards in Monteforte d’Alpone, situated at an altitude of 150 to 250 metres above sea level. The soil is of volcanic origin.
Recommendations
Staforte pairs perfectly with raw fish dishes, oysters and lobster. Delicious also with pasta al pesto genovese and white meat.
Vinification
The grapes for Staforte are grown in Monteforte d’Alpone. The harvest takes place from mid-September to mid-October. After destemming and gentle pressing of the grapes, fermentation takes place at 13°C in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged for six months in stainless steel tanks, with regular stirring of the lees to intensify the flavours and refine the texture.
