On the palate it shows an attractive balance and already silky tannins, a harmoniously integrated acidity and aromas of black pepper, new leather, chocolate, tobacco and ripe, dark berries. Long-lasting and harmonious on the finish. A highly elegant, distinctive Bordeaux blend.

Details
The flagship wine of the company matures for six months in Slavonian oak and a further two years in French barriques. It has a magnificent bouquet of ripe wild berries, cedar wood and a hint of vanilla. The palate is perfectly balanced, sustained by fine tannins and marked by subtle complexity and stunning elegance.
Recommendations
This top wine calls for grilled lamb or a cotoletta alla milanese.
Vinification
The grapes (average age of the vines: ten to 25 years) are harvested by hand and are subject to strict selection. The maceration takes place in large wooden vats, followed by a six-month ageing process in 60 hl Slavonian oak barrels. The wine is then refined for 24 months in new as well as one- or two-year-old French barriques and a further eight months in the bottle.
