Tasting notes
Intense ruby red with violet reflections. Charming and intense on the nose. Notes of plums, rum pot, raisins and undergrowth. Wonderfully full and melting on the palate. Typical of the variety with pithy tannins. The acidity is present but well integrated. Delicately aromatic on the palate but with plenty of dark fruit and spicy notes. Long, succulent finish.

Details
The grapes for this charming Nebbiolo d’Alba grow on the steep slopes of the «Occhetti» vineyard. After ageing in barriques for ten months, it shows intensive notes of plums, Rumtopf, raisins and undergrowth. Full and melting on the palate with pithy tannins.
Recommendations
A simple accompaniment to pasta, risotto and meat.
Vinification
The Nebbiolo grapes come from the «Occhetti» single vineyard. After pressing, the juice is fermented in wooden vats. This is followed by ten months of ageing in barriques, then a few months resting in the bottles.
