Deep ruby red with violet highlights. Fine aromas of black berries, underpinned with fine barrique notes of cedar and a little smoke. Rounded on the palate with a juicy body and a fine tannin structure. The finish is fruity and long-lasting.
A multi-layered, accessible blend of Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet franc. The intensive fruit notes in the bouquet of black cherries and forest berries are then complemented on the palate by the spicy aromas that come from the maturation time in barriques. The Negroamante appears both substantial and harmonious.

Vinification
Assemblage of 50% Merlot, 25% Syrah and 25% Cabernet franc. The grapes are picked separately. Merlot and Syrah are destemmed on arrival at the cellar and crushed for 20 days in a concrete tank. The Cabernet franc grapes are dried during this time and added to the concrete tank in a second step. This is followed by the assemblage. The malolactic fermentation and maturation take place over 14 months in French barriques (second use).
