Details
This delicate, wonderfully well balanced Nebbiolo has aromas of raspberries, almonds and rosehips, and appears full-bodied and harmonious on the palate. One year of maturation in medium-sized wooden barrels and six months of bottle-ageing.
Recommendations
In Piedmont it is often drunk with roast pork but also agnolotti with meat filling.
Vinification
The Nebbiolo grapes come from the Valmaggiore di Vezza vineyard in the district of Alba. After the harvesting and crushing of the grapes, the must is fermented in stainless steel tanks. The young wine matures for 12 months in medium-sized wooden barrels. The final stage of vinification entails bottle ageing over a period of six months.
