The Alghero-born designer Antonio Marras designed the label for Mustazzo. A mysterious stranger with a dashing moustache, who dances in the New Year on the night of San Giovanni (23 to 24 June).
Recommendations
A well-seasoned grilled steak goes superbly well with Mustazzo – but lamb or ripe cheese also complements this authentic Sardinian gem to perfection.
Vinification
100% Cannonau, which grows at 600 metres above sea level. The vines are on average 55 years old. After destemming, the wine ferments in oak barrels and cement tanks.
