Dark ruby red with violet highlights. Fine berry notes on the nose with damsons, fresh wood and spices. Initially silky on the palate with fine-grained tannins. An aroma combination with plenty of ripe, dark berries, a little cherry and chocolate as well as elegant roasted aromas. Attractively well balanced at the end with good aromatic persistence.

Details
This silky, ruby red blend ages in barriques for 15 months. On the nose, spicy berry notes, damsons and dark chocolate. Delicate and modern on the palate.
Recommendations
Pairs with suckling pig, pasta and sharp cheeses.
Vinification
The maceration takes place in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks over a 12- to 15-day period. The young wine then matures for 15 months in French barriques, followed by three months refinement in the bottle.
