Ruby red colour; intense, extremely rich bouquet with notes of cherries, ripe black berries and spicy wood. On the palate it proves to be juicy and full-bodied, with excellent structure and elegant tannins. The finish is wonderfully fiery and full of character. A dream Valpolicella!

The archetype of a classic Valpolicella with aristocratic stylistics and inimitable elegance. Dried grapes are added to the young wine. Matures for 22 months in wood.
Recommendations
Really comes into its own when served with grills, roasts and aged cheeses.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand then undergo a strict selection process before being fermented in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks. In January, dried grapes are added to the young wine to trigger a second fermentation, which lends the wine a higher alcohol content and richer colour and tannins. The young wine matures for 18 months in large Slavonian oak barrels, a further four months in 600 l cherry wood barrels and finally six months in the bottle.
