Tasting notes
Rich ruby red. Ripe, distinguished aromas on the nose with beautiful intensity. Dark, dense fruit. Slightly smoky. Ripe damsons and discreet roasted notes, complemented by a warm herbal spiciness. Juicy and dense on the palate. Noticeable but very well integrated tannins. Powerful, robust body. Multi-layered aromas on the palate. Herbal spiciness, again damsons, a little cinnamon. Aromatic, long-lasting finish. A wine full of character, a highly successful combination of strength and elegance.

Gambero Rosso
This ruby red Ripasso with its aromas of damsons and smoke is the perfect combination of power and elegance. It is fermented with the fresh marc of Amarone Ravazzol.
A good accompaniment to pasta with ragù, as well as grilled vegetables.
The highest quality grapes are carefully harvested by hand and processed as soon as they arrive at the winery. The temperature-controlled fermentation takes 15 days in 5000 l oak barrels. The fresh marc of Amarone Ravazzol and Recioto Tordare is fermented along with the grapes. This gives the wine a higher alcohol content, more colour and tannin as well as a more intense aroma. Once fermentation is complete, the young wine ages for twelve months in 3000 l oak barrels.
