Pale yellow with greenish reflections. Delicate on the nose, driven by fruity and floral aromas. Juicy on the palate, well structured and pleasantly fresh. Stone fruit, citrus fruit and a repeat of the floral notes. Delicious finish.
An exceptional wine as an aperitif, on the terrace, with fried fish.
Vinification
The grapes are carefully picked by hand, destemmed and gently pressed. Fermentation is carried out in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, usually with no malolactic fermentation. During the winter months, the wine matures in contact with the fine lees (bâtonnage) in stainless steel tanks until January/February; it is bottled in March/April then ages in the bottle for a further month or two before going on sale. A classic Lugana doc, made from 100% Trebbiano di Lugana, known locally as Turbiana.
