Intense ruby red with purple hues; a beguiling nose with notes of fully ripe, dark fruit, some spice and delicate wood nuances. Lots of mellowness on the palate, with a fruity, slightly warming consistency. There are flavours of liquorice and black cherries. Overall, a robust, full body, ending in an aromatic, lingering finish.

A robust red wine, aged for twelve months in large wooden barrels. The bouquet is characterised by fully ripe dark fruit and subtle wood nuances. On the palate, it shows plenty of mellowness and a long, aromatic finish. A hot-blooded wine.
Recommendations
Ideal with grilled fish and white meat.
Vinification
Liranu is the local name for the municipality of Leverano, where the grapes for this wine grow. After the harvest, the grapes are crushed and fermented in thermo-controlled stainless steel tanks. The young wine is then aged for twelve months in large 30 hl wooden barrels. After being refined in wood, the Negroamaro is aged for a further 12 months in cement tanks before being bottled.
