Details
Seductive bouquet of cherries and violets with a hint of chocolate, full-bodied on the palate with soft tannins. A gentle woody element lends elegant roasted aromas.

Enjoy it with pasta and rabbit, or scaloppine al limone.
Vinification
Vinification takes place separately in small stainless steel tanks to bring out the different character of the grape varieties in the fermentation stage. The alcoholic fermentation is followed by malolactic fermentation, also in stainless steel. The 10-month ageing process is carried out partly in two-to-four-year-old barriques which are on their third cycle, having been previously used for Ornellaia, and partly in cement tanks to ensure the perfect balance between tannin structure and expressive fruit.
