Dense, clear ruby red, intense and deep. Straightforward, clean, ripe fruit on the nose. Plenty of red berry fruit, cherries, plum jam. A discreet woody note completes the fine nose. Strong and full on the palate. Harmonious, almost silky tannin structure. Again plenty of red fruit. Medium-length, harmonious finish that lingers well.

Details
The Albarossa variety was created in the 1930s by crossing Nebbiolo with Barbera. Its strengths: it has exceptionally round, soft tannins and can continue to mature for a long time. Berried bouquet with a hint of rose perfume, discreetly imbued by its maturation in French oak.
Recommendations
A delight with grills or hearty pasta dishes.
Vinification
Fermentation happens at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. The wine then matures in barriques of French oak for 12 months.
