Vinification
The vineyards, covering 12 ha in area, lie on one of the highest elevations of the Médoc, where the gravel banks are deep and water-permeable. The vines are on average 15 years old. Jean-Marc Landuron, winemaker and forester, is unable to escape from the demand for his excellent Cru Bourgeois. Ever since he won the Coup des Cru Bourgeois with the 1999 vintage, the world of wine has been watching him closely. Modern vinification and maturation of the wines for twelve months in barriques.
