Tasting notes
Brilliant ruby red with violet highlights. Inviting floral notes on the nose of violets, sour cherries and spices. On the palate this wine proves juicy at first, with precise acidity and an elegant texture. The tannins are finely honed and well integrated. Aromas of red forest berries, again a fine hint of herbal spice and also floral tones. Aromatic, palatable finish of a good length.

Details
This typical Dolcetto is made from grapes grown in «Falletto» in the town of Serralunga d’Alba. The wine ages for six months in wooden barrels and captivates with a fine interplay of red forest fruits and spicy herbs. Wonderfully juicy on the palate with precise acidity and elegant texture.
Recommendations
Excellent with Piedmontese antipasti and pasta.
Vinification
The Dolcetto grapes come from Falletto di Serralunga d'Alba. After harvesting and pressing the grapes, the mash is fermented in stainless steel tanks. The young wine matures for six months in medium-sized wooden barrels. The final stage of vinification entails bottle ageing over a period of three to six months.
