Intense ruby red with purple reflections. Very clear and positive on the nose, with notes of sour cherries, blackberries and fruit drops as well as spicy components. Fruity on the palate with finely honed tannins, aromas of ripe berries, some cedar wood, leather and tobacco. Wonderful balance and good complexity on the finish.

The grapes come from the «Costamiòle» single vineyard. Matured for twelve months in French barriques. Notes of cherries, blackberries, cedar, leather and tobacco. Finely honed tannins.
Recommendations
A great accompaniment for taglierini al ragù, but also for venison fillet or wild boar.
Vinification
The Barbera grapes from the «Costamiòle» single vineyard are harvested by hand before being selected, pressed and fermented on the must in stainless steel tanks. Ageing takes place in barriques over a twelve-month period. The wine then spends a further 18 months maturing in the bottle for additional refinement.
