Tasting notes
Deep ruby with violet reflections. Intense, dark fruit on the nose. Ripe plums, blackberries, a little cassis. Finely spiced aromas, dark chocolate, liquorice and a hint of floral notes are paired with this. A strong prelude on the palate. A full-bodied wine with a juicy, crisp structure. Distinct presence of tannins. As befits a Lagrein. The aromas of the nose are repeated, with slightly earthy tones. Long finish characterised by the structure.

Vinification
The grapes for this wine originate from biodynamic cultivation. Fermentation takes place spontaneously in stainless steel tanks and lasts approximately 15 days. The young wine is aged for twelve months. Partly in stainless steel tanks, partly in small 225-litre wooden barrels made from Allier and Nevers oak. One third of the barrels are new, two thirds are in their second year of use.
