Tasting notes
Brilliant golden yellow. Complex aromatics. It reveals noble barrique notes, delicate peach fragrance and white blossom. Juicy, aromatic attack on the palate, a tremendously elegant, distinctive and concise structure. The aromas of the nose are repeated and prove to be wonderfully balanced. The finish is long, in perfect balance and with lingering aromas. A fabulous Chablis Grand Cru that is an excellent reflection both of the terroir and of the grape variety itself.
1333507519 Prestigious wine fruity, floral, spicy, wood rich, complex, dry Poultry, Fish six to 24 months in wood, Only in wooden barrel six to ten years Natural cork
What pairs well with this wine? Grilled sea bass with ratatouille, poultry breast in white sauce, steamed salmon fillet.
The grapes for this wine come from two parcels covering a total area of around two hectares. The average age of the vines is around 50 years. The wine is vinified and matured at the foot of the Chablis Grand Cru Grenouilles. After fermentation, the young wine is aged in small and large oak barrels. During the slow maturation process on the fine lees, which can take up to 16 months, the wine develops its unmistakable, distinctive character of the terroir where it was grown.
