Tasting notes
Rich, dense ruby red. The powerful, complex nose contains notes of fully ripe, dark berries such as cassis and black cherries. These are joined by prunes, liquorice, vanilla and warm, well-integrated spicy notes. Full on the palate with palpable, firm tannins and very ripe fruit. A distinctive wine with plenty of spice, bite and a long-lasting finish.

The Cabernet grapes grow in the estate’s vineyards in Magliano. They are harvested when fully ripe, matured in barrique and transferred unfiltered to bottles after twelve months. The result is a complex wine with bite, firm tannins and ripe fruit aromas.
Pairs well with braised meat and polenta or with gigot of lamb.
The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are harvested when fully ripe, gently crushed and fermented in stainless steel tanks. The maturation process takes 16 to 18 months in new barriques made of Tronçais, Allier and American oak. The wine is then bottled without being filtered and rests a further ten months before it is released for sale.
