Complex and full-bodied on the palate with fine sweetness in the attack. Ripe red forest berries, spicy components and elegant roasted aromas. Skilfully structured with fine-grained tannins and a juicy, elegant acidity. Lots of elegance and length in the finish.

Details
The showcase wine from Prunotto from the top «Bussia» location. It matures for two years, partly in large oak barrels, partly in barriques. A very elegant, juicy wine full of elegance and mellowness.

This noble red definitely calls for a game dish.
Vinification
Only the best Nebbiolo grapes from the top Barolo vineyard of «Bussia» are used for the showcase wine of Prunotto. After hand-picking and gentle pressing, the grapes are macerated. The young wine then matures for two years in French and Slavonian oak barrels (50 hl) and a small portion in barriques. Finally, it ages for twelve months in the bottle.
