Intense, glowing ruby red with garnet hues. The aroma is distinctive and penetrating with notes of dried flowers, nutmeg, cloves, spices and tobacco as well as the characteristic finish of undergrowth. The tannins are silky and full-bodied. They harmonise well with the sweeter tannins of the wood and promise a long, successful ageing process.
The finish is spicy, utterly pure and long-lasting.

A rarity! The entire production only consists of 2,400 bottles! A regal wine made from hand-picked grapes.
Recommendations
Perfect with glazed veal shank, veal fillet or spicy poultry dishes.
Vinification
The selection of the grapes immediately after picking is done by hand to retain the quality of the product. The grapes are then pressed, destemmed and fermented in wooden vats at a controlled temperature (25 to 26°C), all with natural yeasts. Once the alcoholic fermentation is complete, some of the wine is matured in 30 hl barrels and some for 36 months in barriques made of French oak.
