Intense ruby red. Complex, densely woven bouquet. With aromas of blackberries, cloves, a little undergrowth, black truffles, dried fruit and nuts. Plus nuances of vanilla and cocoa. On the palate it shows a full and velvety structure. The aromas of the nose are reflected in the flavours. Graceful and balanced, with plenty of mellowness and finesse. A wonderful, long-lasting Brunello.

Details
A truly elegant wine with notes of ripe fruit, cherries and plums as well as dried fruit, candied fruit and spices. Soft tannins on the palate along with a pleasant acidity.
Recommendations
This Brunello can be enjoyed equally well with beef, veal or lamb.
Vinification
After careful picking and strict selection by hand, the Sangiovese grapes are de-stemmed and fermented in thermo-controlled stainless steel tanks. The young wine is then matured for more than 24 months in large wooden barrels with a capacity of between 800 and 2100 litres. Following vinification, the wine is further refined for six months in the bottle.
