The grapes for the Bocca di Lupo are harvested just after their peak ripeness has been reached, then the wine is matured for 14 months in barriques. Concentrated berry aromas, a hint of vanilla, compact and muscular on the palate.
Recommendations
A delight served with garlic-seasoned gigot of lamb or with spicy pasta dishes.
Vinification
The grapes for the Bocca di Lupo are picked when they are slightly overripe and are carefully selected. The maceration takes place in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks. The young wine is then aged for 20 months in French and Hungarian barriques and a further 12 months in bottles.
