Intense, dense black-red with violet hues. Very dense on the nose and wonderfully multi-layered. Ripe, dark berries, plums, «Mon Chéri», mild tobacco, coffee, menthol, a tiny hint of coconut and vanilla. On the palate this colossus proves weighty and very full-bodied. And yet, despite its opulence, this wine is very elegant, almost delicate. Seductive roasted aromas, ripe, dark fruit, beautifully silky tannins and a seemingly endless aromatic and long-lasting finish.

What a wine! The bouquet holds notes of blackberries, plums, chocolate and tobacco, paired with a hint of coconut and vanilla. On the palate, lovely roasted aromas, dark fruits and silky tannins – wonderfully full-bodied and yet very elegant.

Vinification
Only the best grapes are used for the flagship of the Tenuta di Biserno. After careful picking and meticulous selection of the harvested crop, the grapes are destemmed and pressed. Fermentation happens in barriques and in thermo-controlled stainless steel tanks. The young wine is then aged for 15 months in new French barriques. The wine matures for a further twelve months in the bottle.
